Overview: Secabo TB7 thermobase 40cm x 50cm

With the Thermobase TB7 Secabo offers a heated bottom plate as an extension for your 40cm x 50cm models from Secabo, such as TC7 SMART, TS7 SMART, TPD7 and TPD7 PREMIUM, as well as for many older models. With the new TB7 in a transfer press, the heat comes not only from the top, but additionally from the bottom. This enables lower transfer temperatures overall, shorter transfer times and reduces marks on the textiles. In addition, the temperature can be reduced by the second heating plate, which in turn protects the fabric. The heatable lower plate is particularly recommended for delicate textiles. White toner transfers and sublimation transfers also succeed much more reliably, more reproducibly and in higher quality with a lower plate with fixed heat! The temperature of the TB7 is regulated by its own Secabo controller. The thermobase is softly padded, but can also be equipped with a hard or extra soft mat, depending on the application. The scope of delivery also includes a protective cover. The Thermobase TB7 is easy to mount, even on Secabo quick-change systems.

Recommended for toner transfer and sublimation

In the case of toner transfers, two types of media (paper/film) usually have to be pressed together and then immediately removed while hot. This process is much easier and more reliable with a base plate with configurable heat, which can significantly reduce the process costs for such transfers in comparison with conventional base plates.

Easy to assemble

The TB7 base plate fits on the base socket of all recent Secabo heat presses and can also be mounted on quick-change systems and slide extensions, which means that conventional plates or smaller removable plates can also be used again easily.

Ideal for sensitive garments

Using a TB7 base plate, you can generally press at a lower overall temperature, because the energy does not have to “pass through” the entire fabric merely from above. The parallel heating from below protects garment surfaces.
